Internet has presented more and more ways for people to get themselves out in the world and make millions of dollars through their skills, talent and knowledge. Blogging has emerged as an unusually most profitable way to earn money online.
Blogging has turned many moms, students and stay-at-home dads into influential bloggers with thousands of followers from around the world and millions of dollars in their bank account.
But, should you want to see this kind of success from your blogging, get ready for some hard work. One right idea combined with smart work in the right direction is the perfect recipe for million dollar blogging business.
Not everyone who starts blogging become successful. There are few keys to becoming millionaire blogger. These keys are simple to follow, yet powerful to transform your blog into a millionaire's blog.
1. Use real world examples
Just as firsthand experience makes your article credible, using real life stories can help readers connect with your story. Use real stories of people who are already known, trusted and respected by your targeted readers. To test out this hypothesis, I did a small test on Quora. Results on Quora are instant. In a matter of few hours you can find out if your content is gaining traction or not. I answered a question on Quora and supported it by quoting a real event from the life of Arianna Huffington.
This answer got 3 upvotes within few hours.
It also got more views than any other person who has answered this question.
2. Focus on constantly creating content
The first step of becoming a millionaire blogger is to start a blog and then continuously create and deliver new content. The more information you provide the better it is for you gain traction and favor of search engines. Google's patent filings over the year's shows that "freshness" is one of the ranking factors embed in its algorithm to rank content. Websites that add new pages frequently, earn better freshness score than websites that add content less frequently.
3. Firsthand experience
Internet is flooded with every kind of information. By only being informative you won't cut through anymore. People are looking for blog articles that include real, firsthand experience. If you have real world experience, use it in your article to make it more insightful. Anyone can read through tons of information online and recreate content. Only experts have real experience to back their story.
4. Make it interesting
When visitors have got enough options to find information, why should they stop by your website? When there is tons of quality information freely available that delivers real value, you have to do more than what every other blogger is doing out there. Giving out quality information, writing no fluff stories have become bare minimum criteria. The only thing that misses on most blogs is the hook. What hook are you using to keep your visitors hooked to your article? Or in other words what are you doing to make your article interesting? Did you notice that I started this article with three screenshots from real world examples? I did not only use it to prove my point but to also make my content interesting. Only facts and figures and numbers are boring. Use screenshots, charts, graphs, slides and images to spice up your contents.
5. Promote your article
What fun is it to write a great content when no reads it? Content creation is just one part of content marketing, the other part is promoting your content. To get people view and share your content, you have to get out there and promote it where your target audiences like to hang out.
